- 400 MHz processor, Pentium II compatible with MMX

- 250 MB available hard disk space (might be considerably less if required supporting software is already installed)
- High-speed Internet connection
- SVGA monitor (800 x 600 pixels)
- 16-bit color or higher
- Desktop PC with headphones, headset or external speakers
- Laptop PC with headphones, headset or internal speakers
- Headset with microphone must have a single audio connection like those used with cellular phones

Computer Support
The Information Services Computing Help Desk is available to serve the UNL community, including distance education students. The Help Desk assists students in the use of electronic mail (e-mail), World Wide Web (WWW), Blackboard, mainframe accounts, microcomputer operating systems, word processing, ISP (Internet connection), disk recovery and file translation. The Help Desk also assists students with computer virus eradication and obtaining anti-virus software.
