Program Description

As agribusiness firms become more diverse, the need for business educated agricultural graduates becomes more critical. This is a dynamic and opportune time to be employed in the agribusiness sector. The MBA degree with a specialization in Agribusiness will prepare students for career opportunities within the agribusiness industry.

For those already employed in the agribusiness sector, the MBA specialization in Agribusiness will provide the traditional MBA curriculum to prepare students for management positions.

The University of Nebraska's distance learning MBA program received high praise from the recent American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business accredidation team. The program recognizes the needs of the adult learner, emphasizes managerial skills such as team building, and utilizes case analysis and presentations, allowing immediate application to the workplace.
