Please note: The Testing Center will be closed on Saturday, May 27 and Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.

Students living within a 35-mile radius of Lincoln or Scottsbluff must take their examination at a University of Nebraska testing center.

Testing Center Hours:
Monday - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon

Testing Center Guidelines for Proctoring Tests (for non CIS/ISHS Students)
All test instructions must be clear and easily followed:

  1. A packet with all material associated with the test must be received. The cover sheet must have the student's name and ID printed on it, along with course name and number, which test and the total number of pages for the test. Instructions along with any necessary supplies must be included.
  2. Instructions for returning test must be included. If the test is to be mailed, a self-addressed, stamped envelope must be provided.
  3. Students will be required to show a photo ID.
  4. There are limited computer resources available for testing use'two PC's with Internet can be utilized, but NO word processing, spreadsheet, or presentation software has been installed. Online tests connected to a Web site and Blackboard EDU tests can be administered, but all instructions for proctoring including Web site locations and any necessary passwords must be clearly indicated. If students are to be allowed to bring in their own laptop computers to take a test, this must be authorized within the instructions. However, Internet connectivity for such laptops is not available. To assure computer availability, you should make an appointment with the Testing Center by calling (402) 472-2175 .
  5. If cheating is observed, all exam materials will be confiscated from the student and returned to the school with notification.
  6. Tests may not be started within 45 minutes prior to closing.

Students taking exams: Applicable TEST CENTER fees are the responsibility of the student and can be paid in our office. Fees must be paid before a test will be administered and no billing for these fees will be allowed. Checks should be made to University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Fee charged: $20/test or exam.

If you will be taking examinations at a testing center:
' Be prepared to show photographic identification
' Allow sufficient time to complete your examination before the testing center closes.
' No testing may be started less than 45 minutes before closing.
