Welcome to the Office of Extended Education & Outreach (EE&O) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Web site. Here you will find information about UNL's 12 masters and 2 doctoral distance programs, the 4 certificate programs and 5 endorsement programs. The site has information about UNL's College Independent Study program, which offers more than 85 undergraduate and graduate credit and non-credit courses from 31 academic departments, as well as information about UNL's Summer Independent Study program that gives undergraduate students the opportunity to earn credit without having to be on campus during the summer.
You will also find information about UNL's Independent Study High School. High school students from grades 9 through 12 can choose from more than 160 online and print courses to supplement their local curriculum or earn an accredited diploma.
I invite you to explore this Web site further to gain greater awareness of UNL's distance education programs, student support services, faculty assistance and the people associated with them. I hope you will also sense UNL's strong commitment to providing high-quality distance education programs and student support services at an affordable price.
